Dylan Metheny, Cloud Systems Engineer, obtained the Microsoft 365 Security Administrator certification, which is the highest certification in the Microsoft 365 platform. With this level of training, Dylan can proactively:
- Secure Microsoft 365 enterprise environments
- Respond to threats
- Perform investigations
- Enforce data governance
Dylan confidently collaborates with Microsoft 365 Enterprise Administrator, business stakeholders, and other workload administrators to plan and implement security strategies, as well as ensure that the solutions comply with the policies and regulations of the organization. For businesses living in Microsoft 365 environments, Metheny can respond to threats, implement, manage, and monitor security and compliance solutions.
“Having a certified Microsoft 365 Security Administrator on staff allows us to help our clients better secure their 365 environment, understand how to respond to threats, assist our cyber-security team with investigations, and (most importantly) help our customers meed both industry-specific and internal data governance requirements like HIPAA, PCI Security Standards, PII regulations, etc. Having Dylan on staff allows us to work with our customers to plan and implement security strategies for 365 that align with their short and long term strategic business plans and help them achieve their business goals securely while leveraging the power of Software as a Service (SaaS),” said Will Smothers, Team Lead for Cloud Services.

Cheryl Hearne, Senior Cybersecurity Consultant, recently received The Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP). The CISSP is a globally recognized certification that proves that a cybersecurity professional has the necessary skills, knowledge, and experience to implement and manage a robust cybersecurity program. By completing a grueling three-hour, adaptive exam, earning this certification shows expertise across eight security practices and principles. As a cybersecurity professional, they are receiving this accreditation, demonstrates how to create effective business solutions and to ensure that those solutions are appropriately managed to the benefit of the business.
The International Information Systems Security Certification Consortium (ISC) created this certification course to assist and elevate those professionals who have proven deep technical and managerial competence. With the skills and experience and authority to design, engineer, implement, and manage the information security program, they can protect organizations from things like malware and malicious attacks.
