Now let’s learn more about Laura.
What is your name, and what do you do for Edafio?
My name is Laura Parker. I am a Client Relationship Manager who acts as a dedicated advocate for clients, championing their needs and fostering a positive relationship with our services. It also means I get to collaborate with some really amazing teams.
Tell us a little bit about yourself.
I circled back to NWA from Texas a couple of years ago – hometown roots called me back. I’m a bit of a foodie and I love to learn different hobbies. Whether that’s SQL classes, perfecting Macarons or taking ballroom lessons – I embrace the challenge. It keeps me on my toes, alongside managing the chaos of 2 teenagers, a 20 yr old and one chonky lab.
What brought you to Edafio?
It’s commitment to client success, and emphasis on integrity really resonated with my approach to building meaningful connections with clients. I continue to be impressed by Edafio’s dedication to this vision.
What do you like to do most outside of work?
Outside of work, you’ll often find me immersed in a good book, listening to music or some type of crime junkie podcast. I also enjoy hiking and connecting with nature. But, spending time with my family takes the top spot in my priorities.
Do you have a motto or personal mantra?
“She is clothed with strength and dignity, and she laughs without fear of the future.” – Proverbs 46:5
Do you have a Favorite Newspaper, Newsletter, Book, Blog and/or Podcast?
I have many depending on the season of my life. Right now, I am listening to the Huberman Lab podcast and often lean on the Half Baked Harvest blog for some good recipes.
What skill do you think everyone should learn?
How to fail, and fail gracefully. Seeing failures not as setbacks but as stepping stones for growth. I believe acknowledging mistakes, learning from them, and persisting with resilience are key aspects of navigating life’s inevitable challenges.
