We are thrilled to recognize Ted Siems as one of our February Associate Spotlights.
The comings and goings of staff are a part of every dynamic organization; therefore, it can be challenging to get to know our coworkers better as people. We have to be mindful that our company culture thrives on our exceptional people and their outstanding technical skills. As such, we are finding that our periodic interviews with associates allow us to acknowledge and celebrate the beautiful life stories, extraordinary professional accomplishments, and even the little quirks that make us uniquely beautiful human beings.
We hope you find each Edafio associate story as inspiring as we do in gathering and sharing them.
Now let’s get better acquainted with Ted!
How long have you worked at Edafio, and what does your job entail?
I started in June 2014. Currently, I lead and maintain multiple projects specifically involving Vulnerability Management and Security Awareness programs.
What is the best career lesson you have learned so far?
Continuing education, certifications, experience, staying connected to the community and expanding your network.
What is your Crystal Knows Profile?
Analyst. Scarry Accurate.
What would you do (for a career) if you weren’t doing this?
No idea, but I’m sure something that most people find boring but highly logic based.
What is something unique about you (a fun fact) that few people are aware of?
I was adopted at nine days old.
Ted has been an integral part of Edafio’s Cybersecurity service delivery for many years now. Whether it be on security assessments, security awareness or any other cybersecurity service, we know that clients can depend on him to be laser focused on providing excellent reporting and communication of findings in a way that is actionable and relevant to their business and reducing risk to their information and information systems at large.
Valerie Moring, Team Leader
If you could meet anyone in the world, dead or alive, who would it be and why?
I think that Nikola Tesla would be fascinating to have a conversation with. I want to pick his brain about several topics.
Everyone at Edafio has a story about why they joined the team. What’s yours?
I had been with Coleman Tech for approximately six months when Edafio acquired them. It was a time of significant change in my life, but joining Edafio was one of the great changes.
Edafio is always looking for exceptional candidates to join our team. For an opportunity to work with folks like Ted, visit our careers page to learn more.
