August 20, 2021 – Edafio Technology Partners is pleased to announce the promotion of Sam Grubb, CISSP, to Senior Cybersecurity Consultant. In this role, Sam will support the comprehensive cybersecurity needs of Edafio’s clients — including compliance audits, penetration testing, network assessments, risk assessments, security awareness programs, and gap analysis of policies and procedures.
Beyond Sam’s expertise in the specialized requirements of network and systems security and his ability to oversee the wide-ranging day-to-day security issues, this promotion recognizes the senior role he has successfully played in supporting the client security program’s strategic goals and overall culture. Having recently spearheaded the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) program, Sam also helps companies reach CMMC Level 3 compliance for DOD contractors.

Previously, Sam worked as a contractor for the National Guard teaching Information Assurance courses and a teacher for Jacksonville High School as their Cybersecurity Education Specialist. An experienced presenter, educator and author, Sam is co-author of the upcoming book, How Cybersecurity Really Works: A Hands-On Guide for Total Beginners, published by No Starch Press. A longtime resident of Arkansas, Sam lives in Centerton with his wife Shannon and their son.
