Meet Tracy Sapp, our November Associate Spotlight!

Home » Blog » Meet Tracy Sapp, our November Associate Spotlight!

We are thrilled to pay tribute to our November Associate Spotlight, Tracy Sapp. Tracy started at Edafio almost a decade ago when the company had around 20 employees. She has held multiple roles and is the glue for ALL of the teams we support. She tackles new challenges and exhibits grace under pressure, all while helping us stay connected, engaged and productive.

The comings and goings of staff are a part of every dynamic organization; therefore, it can be challenging to get to know our coworkers better as people. We have to be mindful that our company culture thrives on our exceptional people and their outstanding technical skills. As such, we are finding that our periodic interviews with associates allow us to acknowledge and celebrate the beautiful life stories, extraordinary professional accomplishments, and even the little quirks that make us uniquely beautiful human beings.

We hope you find each Edafio associate story as inspiring as we do in gathering and sharing them.

Now let’s get better acquainted with Tracy!

Our November Associate Spotlight is Tracy Sapp

How long have you worked at Edafio, and what does your job entail?

Nine years. I have had several responsibilities since I started, but my current position is as Kenny’s assistant and to help coordinate Edafio’s social events/community involvement.

What is the best career lesson you’ve learned so far?

Never stop learning.

What would you do (for a career) if you weren’t doing this?

I would be doing something where I work with numbers.

Few people really know all Tracy does to keep Edafio running smoothly (and to keep Kenny between the lane lines). She is dedicated, dependable, completely embodies our core values, and is a great example of servant leadership. I’m so grateful I get to work with her!

Brian Hutchins, CFO

Abraham Lincoln

All the folks I have the privilege to work with.

What do you like to do when you aren’t working?

Work around our property and/or home.

What is the one thing you can’t live without?

Everyone at Edafio has a story about why they joined the team. What’s yours?

I was looking for a new job because another company had acquired the company I had worked at for 16 years. My husband Trey was working at Edafio and sent me a text message asking if I wanted to work here. I wasn’t sure they would want spouses here, but they hired me; the rest is history. ????

Edafio is always looking for exceptional candidates to join our team. For an opportunity to work with folks like Tracy, visit our careers page to learn more.
