We are thrilled to pay tribute to Jason Ezell, one of Edafio’s esteemed associates and our spotlight for January.
The comings and goings of staff are a part of every dynamic organization; therefore, it can be challenging to get to know our coworkers better as people, especially during a time of social distancing. We have to be mindful that our company culture thrives on our exceptional people as much as their outstanding technical skills. As such, we are finding that our periodic interviews with associates allow us to acknowledge and celebrate the beautiful life stories, extraordinary professional accomplishments, and even the little quirks that make us uniquely beautiful human beings.
We hope you find each Edafio associate story as inspiring as we do in gathering and sharing them.

Tell us a little bit about yourself.
My name is Jason Ezell, and I am the IT Manager at Friendship Community Care. I have a Godly wife that has been at my side for 20+ years, and we have three children.
My wife teaches Coding and Cybersecurity for Virtual Arkansas, so you could say we are a geeky family. Because the IT landscape is always changing, my role as IT manager enables me to solve complex and challenging problems for my clients while making a positive difference. The opportunities for continuous learning and innovation are endless!
What is the best career advice that you have ever received?
Work like your parents are watching you.
Who or what made you smile today?
I choose to show up with a smile every day. They are contagious and have a positive impact on those around you. Remembering that what happened yesterday is in the past, and tomorrow is in the future. The present moment is what matters.
What do you like to do in your free time?
Spending time with my family is the most important thing I do. I also enjoy riding my Harley, hunting and being on the water.
Jason Ezell’s commitment to our client’s success is a direct reflection of Edafio’s core values. His customer service skills and attention to detail have built an environment of trust and transparency with our clients. Jason sets the bar high with his ‘can-do’ attitude, and we are very proud to have him on the Edafio team.

Quarantine can be a time of learning, self-reflection and personal discovery. That said, is there anything you would like to share that COVID-19 and this quarantine has taught you.
I would say be honest with the people you care about and tell them that you love them dearly because you never know when that will be the last time you get to see them.
Everyone at Edafio has a story about why they joined the team. What’s yours?
After much research and watching several Edafio YouTube videos, the Core Values – Committed to clients, Unquestionable Integrity, One Team with Humility and Respect, really hit home for me because that is what I aspire to live by every day. Knowing the core values is a significant part of the company was the determining factor for joining the company.
Edafio is always looking for exceptional candidates to join our team. For an opportunity to work with folks like Jason, be sure to visit our careers page to learn more.
