The comings and goings of staff are a part of every dynamic organization; therefore, it can be challenging to get to know our coworkers better as people. We have to be mindful that our company culture thrives on our exceptional people and their outstanding technical skills. As such, we are finding that our periodic interviews with associates allow us to acknowledge and celebrate the beautiful life stories, extraordinary professional accomplishments, and even the little quirks that make us uniquely beautiful human beings.

Today, we are thrilled to recognize Shane Moore as one of our February Associate Spotlights. He is a self-driven senior technical consultant who plans and designs technology solutions for our cloud environment. Now let’s get better acquainted with him!
How long have you worked at Edafio, and what does your job entail?
I have been at Edafio since 2017. I am a Consulting Cloud Engineer, which essentially means I help build, operate, manage and maintain an optimal environment for our private Edafio Cloud.
What do you like most about your job?
The flexibility and the ability to work remotely.
What would you do (for a career) if you weren’t doing this?
If I weren’t in IT, I would most likely be working on cars or construction.
What piece of advice would you give your younger self?
Chin up, shoulders back. Keep digging, and never give up.
Shane is the backbone of our Edafio Private Cloud service offering. His technical expertise is second to none, and his dedication to client success is inspiring. Shane is always the first to ask, “how can I help?”… he puts the client’s goals first and motivates his team with his unwavering commitment to Edafio s core values. What is one thing you can’t live without?
Family, plain and simple.
What is your favorite place in the world?
I think, hands down, the beach is my favorite place.
What is something unique about you (a fun fact) that few people know?
I love racing! Over the past couple of years, I have really embraced racing anything with wheels. Found a passion for Radio Control Drag racing, and I plan to get back to racing cars soon.
Everyone at Edafio has a story about why they joined the team. What’s yours?
For me, Edafio was a huge change of pace. Before Edafio, I was a Senior Systems Engineer and Vmware SME for Walmart. I moved to Edafio to have job security.
