Now let’s learn more about Ashley!
Tell us a little about yourself, and what do you like to do most outside of work?
I’m originally from McPherson, KS. I moved to Little Rock on a whim after college and completely fell in love with the beauty of Arkansas. My fiancé is originally from Hot Springs but works in Louisiana, so we lived in New Orleans for several years before recently moving back to Arkansas. We have a 6-year-old Goldendoodle named Hudson, the center of our lives. We’re getting married this fall in Breckenridge, CO, and of course, Hudson will be involved in our wedding
What does your job entail?
I will be responsible for payroll and assist with purchasing orders.
What brought you to Edafio
The culture at Edafio grabbed my attention when first researching them. I’m beyond excited to be part of a team that constantly works together to achieve company goals and personal goals. While I enjoy the hybrid work environment, I love that the leaders at Edafio feel that it’s still essential to have face-to-face communication with clients and team members.
Motto or personal mantra
Everything is figureoutable
What do you like to do most outside of work?
My fiancé, dog, and I love to be outside as much as possible. We enjoy grilling out with friends, hiking, camping, hunting, and going to the lake in the summer.
Do you have a favorite newspaper, newsletter, book, blog and/or podcast?
My favorite podcast would have to be The Joe Rogan Experience. I like the mixture of comedy with the diversity of guests hosted on his podcasts.
What skill do you think everyone should learn?
How to communicate effectively in all situations. Effective communication is now more critical than ever in a world where face-to-face interactions are less common, and it’s easy to be misunderstood in both personal and business environments.
