We are thrilled to pay tribute to Jason Snoddy one of our June Associate Spotlight and esteemed Cloud Engineer.
The comings and goings of staff are a part of every dynamic organization; therefore, it can be challenging to get to know our coworkers better as people, especially coming out of a time of social distancing. We have to be mindful that our company culture thrives on our exceptional people as much as their outstanding technical skills. As such, we are finding that our periodic interviews with associates allow us to acknowledge and celebrate the beautiful life stories, extraordinary professional accomplishments, and even the little quirks that make us uniquely beautiful human beings.
We hope you find each Edafio associate story as inspiring as we do in gathering and sharing them.

How long have you worked at Edafio and what does your job entail?
I have been with Edafio for three years now and on the Cloud Team for one. My position consists primarily of working with clients to figure out ideal cloud solutions for their current and future needs and then working with them to move to those solutions.
What do you like most about your job?
The team. Edafio is the first company I have worked for that truly lives the “one team” mentality that most organizations claim. Being able to rely on fellow engineers to help fix an issue and be able to be there in turn for them is fantastic.
Jason is the consummate team player. He is always willing to pitch in and help make a client successful for Edafio. Jason is quickly becoming the go-to guy around Software as a Service and Microsoft cloud offerings. I always appreciate his willingness to help out and his drive to learn new things. Jason is an integral reason that the Edafio Cloud Team has been so successful!
Will Smothers, Cloud Team Lead
What would you do (for a career) if you weren’t doing this?
This, but somewhere else. I have loved computers for as long as I can remember. I find immense satisfaction in breaking, fixing and troubleshooting devices. So being able to do what I love every day is perfect.
What do you like to do when you are not working?
More of the same, usually. I’m typically tinkering on at least one personal project when off work, but I also enjoy snowing skiing.
Everyone at Edafio has a story about why they joined the team. What is yours?
I was at a friend’s wedding rehearsal and ended up sitting next to Eric Roddy. We started talking about our jobs, and he heard how poorly my employer was treating me and suggested I apply for Edafio. So, I sent him my resume, joined the team a few months later, and haven’t looked back once!
Edafio is always looking for exceptional candidates to join our team. For an opportunity to work with folks like Jason, be sure to visit our careers page to learn more.
